Nagaland is an enchanting place in North East part of India - still undisturbed from urbanization. Many tribes called as nagas live in Nagaland from generations including Angami , konyak , lothak , lo , etc. Naga people love to make and wear jewelry .They are experts craftsmen.  They use many different materials including conch shell , glass beads , bone , horn , brass , feather , etc. Headhunting used to be a former practice among certain naga tribes and it is not practised anymore. Elephant jewelry and crafts

Asian-  India  elephants roughly weigh between 3 to 5 tons (approx 6600 lbs to 11000 lbs) !!! They are herbivores in nature !!! That means they live on plants only !!! Imagine the gigantic size and food that they eat. The dexterity of an elephant's  trunk is amazing - they can pick up very small tiny objects to large heavy objects using their trunk. This is due to the fact that thousands of muscle units are present in elephant's trunk. The tusks found in some elephants are actually their teeth also known for ivory. Elephants have a very good sense of hearing far more superior to human beings. Elephants are very soclal animals and known for their intelligence and memory !!!   Elephants were used by kings , maharajas , knights during war times as main chariot / carrier / transportation means.
